*Pronoun are changed in the following manner in the Passive Voice.

✓   They.       ----.       Them

Change of verb in Assertive Sentences :

Active Voice  =   Passive

(simple present)

√Break/Breaks =am/is/are broken 

√ do/does(not)break = am/is/are(not) broken.

Example.

 AV : 1.Ram writes a story.

PV :. A story is written by Ram.

AV: 2. Do they write an essay ?

PV : Is an essay written by them ?

Active Voice  =   Passive

(simple past)

√Broke =Was/were broken 

√ did not break = was/ were not broken.

Example.

 AV : 1.Ram wrote a story.

PV :. A story was written by Ram.

AV: 2. Did he write an essay ?

PV : Was an essay written by him ?

√Shall/will break =Shall/will be broken 

√ Shall/will (not )break = Shall/Will (not) be broken.

Example.

 AV : 1.Ram will write a story.

PV : Will an essay be written by him ?
